This prayer wheel has an ornamental wooden "housing" hand-painted in a way that has stylistic and design elements typical of Tibetan Buddhist ritual art. The wheel is set within the main chamber, and can be spun by twisting the central spindle, seen at the center of the wheel's "roof". The prayer cylinder is itself a tightly rolled scroll of paper with the mantra - Om Mani Padme Hung, printed on it inumerable times. These are great on a coffee table or on the desk top, so that you can give the wheel a spin and generate a little merit in idle moments.
